living the Christian life

"a path, not a destination"

The Christian spiritual life is active participation in an emotionally intimate relationship with Jesus Christ; and it begins like any other friendship. God promises in the Bible that He will answer and embrace anyone who sincerely seeks Him.

A wonderful thing about this unique conversation is that once it begins, it never ends unless we chose to end it. And the better you come to know Him, through ongoing conversation with Him (about everything!), through reading fundamental, doctrinally sound literature, and by engaging other Christians in relationship, you'll understand how this awesome, all-powerful God really does care about being connected with you. The Christian Life is a beautiful by-product of the process of engaging this Marvelous Love.

I'll never become a Christian

All of us who follow Christ are called to the task of Evangelism but many Christians see this as a scary prospect. What is I get into a discussion that I cannot answer? What if they get angry with me? What if I end up looking stupid? Evangelism is not arguing. Jesus never argued with anybody. He simply sowed ‘seeds’ to make people think. It is the Holy Spirit which water’s the seed.

Identifying Satan's Assignments

"Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices" - [ 2 Corinthians 2:11 ]. Every person born on this earth has a preordained path, which was conceived and written out at the foundations of the earth. The Bibles tells us in Psalm 139:16:
"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed and in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them". (Please read Psalm 139 in the Amplified Bible for an excellent translation of this text.)

Elements of Leadership

Jesus always led by example in everything that he told his disciples to do. Whatever he expected them to do; he always showed them how to do it first. He would perform healings and miracles and eventually we would see the disciples doing the same thing. The best way you can lead is by example. In today’s world, many leaders expect their subordinates to perform tasks which they themselves are incapable of doing. This destroys their credibility and causes them to lose the respect from their followers. Before you expect your team to keep a standard, ensure that you’re keeping it yourself first.
