Complete in Christ

■ 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
■ 10 and you are COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

There are believers who see themselves as incomplete. This is because they are conscious of their lack and imperfections. They say, “There are so many things imperfect about me! How can I be complete if there are so many things I am lacking in?” They see their weaknesses, condemn themselves and feel inferior to others.

Fulfillment in life does not come from what we do FOR Christ it comes from being IN Christ ACTS 17:28 'For IN HIM we live and move and have our being'.

The key in living the Christian life is not TRYING HARDER it's TRUSTING Jesus.

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

The good news is that God does not see the way man sees. Man sees the flesh. God sees the spirit. He sees us already complete in Christ. In spite of our imperfections, He sees us as new creations, partakers of His divine nature and more than conquerors over our faults. And He wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away: behold, all things have become new.

What we think we need or are lacking in, whether it is godly character traits or physical health, we already have in Christ.

Precious people of God, you are not going to be complete in Christ some day: you are already complete in Christ! And what remains for you to do is to walk daily in that completeness by believing that it is true and confessing that what you need right now, Jesus is to you. He is your complete forgiveness, complete righteousness, complete favor, complete holiness and complete protection.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

The Bible say's we have everything in Jesus. There is nothing left to give because God gave it all in Jesus.

The answer is not in getting SOMETHING the answer is KNOWING what we already have in Jesus.

Christiandom today thrives on the concept of deficiency and lack. Lord we want more, we're thirsty for more...but Jesus said once you drink of His water you'll never thirst again.

JOHN 4:14

But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.  You don't need more when there is a fountain inside of you ready be poured out!  So don't focus on the lack you see in your life. Focus instead on how in Christ, you are complete in everything at this moment. And instead of weaknesses, lack and defects, you will see His strength, wholeness, soundness and completeness manifesting in you!

When you know you are COMPLETE in Christ it brings REST to your soul.

We are complete IN HIM in JESUS and Communion is a reminder of Him being in us and we being in Him.
